Dr. Beasley’s NSP CoreCut is a fully inorganic compounding primer for levelling deep defects in automotive and marine paint while priming for ceramic coating application.
Instead of using larger abrasives that risk paint damage, CoreCut utilises hyperfaceted abrasives textured for a deep precision cut aggressive enough to restore marred and neglected marine gelcoat.
Precision Correction – Heavier Cut with Faceted Abrasives
When most polish and compound manufacturers need a more aggressive abrasive, they go bigger. But bigger means more surface heat and horrible swirls. Instead of scaling up the abrasive, NSP CoreCut utilises a faceted shape that levels 1200 grit sanding marks without scarring the paint or overheating it. It’s the safest way to pull out severe defects so you can get a beautiful shine while keeping the clear coat healthy.
Safe on Paint – Aggressive Enough for Marine Gelcoat Restoration
Restoring the hardened gelcoat on a boat’s hull is difficult for even the most aggressive compounds. 100% Inorganic Formula – No IPA Wipe Required
Organic oil residue left behind by conventional compounds makes it harder for ceramic coatings to bond, requiring you to clean them with an isopropyl alcohol solution first before you can coat. Nano Surface Primers like CoreCut are 100% inorganic and leave no oil-based residue behind. Just wipe with a microfibre towel and proceed to ceramic coating, locking in the beautiful shine you’ve created.
